CHARACTEROLOGIES EXPLAINED…Growing up we experience 5 flavours of pain. We’re very young when it first happens and we react to protect ourselves from these types of pain. We accidentally assume the world is hostile and that we need to live protected. (as if this pain will attack us round every corner)
We setup a “protection habit”. It is built of beliefs, behaviour patterns and styles of interacting. Our energy system ( chakras/ aura/ intentionality and essence) shows the trained healer how we’ve formed this “protection habit” and avoided the free flow of life. i.e the healer can perceive where there are “blocks” and why.
When a healer understands why, they offer greater compassion and presence to the client, in their place of stuckness. This presence is the catalyst for healing.
Q: How does a healer learn about other people’s stuckness?
A: By exploring his/her own stuckness.
Q: Why do many healing schools avoid teaching this?
A: Its sticky work exploring stuckness
Q: Why would I choose a healer who has done this personal work?
A: They know the relationship between freedom and stuckness and can lead you to freedom.
Q: I just want a healing to fix my problem. Do I really have to do all this self exploration work?
A: No, you can just come for a healing.
Energetics Institute in Australia says :”There are 5 primary Character Types, each with sub-types, as no person is one character type. We are a blend of all of them at some level, but typically one or two of them pre-dominate and reveal our primary bodily, emotional and mental personality defence or posture towards life.” Read their excellent summary here
Caveat: At an advanced level of healing it is true that “Why” becomes less important. By this stage the healer as developed the capacity for breadth of wholeness, that can include the known and unknown simultaneously. The healer lives from a pre-existing compassion and presence that is the foundation of their/our being. This becomes the next level of healing.
